"A Rules Lawyer for the People"
Saul, better known as Spud, was unfortunately born somewhere in Yorkshire. This means that from a frightfully young age, Spud was sadly English. Having a couple years of experience playing wizards in D&D under his belt, and having dabbled in other systems such as Starfinder (but mostly staying true to his first love, 5th Edition), the ‘young lad’ joined the group after an invitation from Basha’s player and luckily the Defenders didn’t spend enough time with him to know that they should have thrown that contract out the window. Now they are STUCK with this pseudo-rules-lawyer until Basil backs his last flip. Other than D&D he plays video games, sometimes even D&D based video games! What an adventurous individual!!
Born and raised in D&D country, A.K.A. southeastern Wisconsin if you're familiar with your D&D trivia. A longtime RPG advocate, Ron is familiar with most editions of D&D but has also dabbled in Vampire, Werewolf, Star Wars, Doctor Who, Mutants and Masterminds, and Paranoia, just to name a few. First time podcaster, full time reptile expert.
Born In Indiana, raised all over. Lewis was first introduced to RPG's with the Red and Blue box sets. Played all versions of D&D except 4E; also played GURPS, Vampire: the Masquerade, TMNT, Champions, many versions of Star Wars, Top Secret and many, many more. First time podcaster and an avid photographer.
David's parents were in the military. As such, he moved around a lot when he was little. His parents split up when David was still young, and his mother was awarded custody in the divorce. David has a brother, two sisters, and two step sisters (whom he's never known). Currently married to his second wife, David enjoys being a husband, father to a special needs son, and a woodworker. David got his start playing RPG's in middle school, playing Marvel Super Heroes with his best friend.
Born in Missouri, but now living in Arizona, Ricky has been playing D&D since 1989 when he stole his uncle's D&D books from his room. Goblins are Ricky's favorite D&D race, and he's always had a fascination with them. Ricky's first D&D character ever was named Kain "Springwater" McGade. Currently, Ricky works in healthcare as a dialysis technician and is "very casually" going to college for nursing. In Ricky's expert opinion, the best fruit to exist are bananas.
Rick was born in Michigan, but has recently relocated to Arizona to live near his three amazing grandchildren. He started playing RPG's in 2000 with the 3rd edition of D&D, going on to play 3.5 and then Pathfinder before returning to D&D in 2018 with the 5th edition of the iconic RPG. Rick enjoys gaming of almost any variety, but when he is not playing games he can be found practicing and instructing martial arts.
It has been about 200 years since the end of a centuries-long war. Both dragon-kind and giant-kind were forced into exile upon its conclusion, but not all is what it seems. Our heroes were once strangers, held prisoner by a group of orcish slavers. Surprisingly, this motley crew managed to convince the orcs to let them go and join our heroes instead! With the help of Donk, these adventurers made their way to the small farming village of Centrevale. The rest is history.
Small farming village, kind of boring, right? WRONG! This place has plenty of threats to deal with, from poachers to thieves, sad toddlers to death cults dedicated to ancient beings better left dormant, and everything in-between! One has not defended the vale until one defends the vale.

The majority of our cast have never even met face-to-face, yet somehow we manage to religiously meet up week after week to play a game that we all love. Our cast spans three nations, two continents, and an ocean! If that's not dedication, we don't know what is.
