Finnileas Sylwynn is 5’5” tall and weighs around 90 lbs. His skin is alabaster, tinged with blue; he has silver-white hair and green eyes flecked with gold. He is the only born child of Bellethiel Sylwynn, a relatively powerful member of the wizard’s council; and, as such, has had very little time to care for, or raise a child. His father’s identity has never been revealed to him. Finnileas was cared for by a sweet, but forgetful nanny, which suited him just fine. You see, Finnileas loves to read; and his nanny’s forgetfulness afforded him all the time he desired to hide away in a library. He spent so much time reading that he missed out on most every opportunity to do social things, which made him increasingly awkward and uncomfortable around others. Thanks to his natural, inherited talent for magic, and his voracious appetite for study, he excelled in school. However, this scholastic excellence, combined with his social awkwardness made him quite unpopular with his peers, so he spent increasingly more time isolated. Upon reaching the age where most had decided on a future and had begun earnestly working towards that future, Finnileas still had questions. The most important question to him, one whose answer had completely eluded him throughout all his study was, and continues to be: “What does any of it, life, mean?” Since he has not found the answer to this most important question, he has decided it is time to leave his home, travel the world, and discover the answer.
