"Hello, my name is Onyx; please don't ask me how it's spelled...do you have more than two eyes? Do you want to rid yourself of those pesky eyes? Then call me, Onyx. I don't know what else you'd call me because that is my name."

Hello, I am Onyx of clan Stone and this is the story of my life thus far.  I was born twenty-six full rotations around the sun. I am the youngest of four children to Slate and Jade. My three siblings include Granite my oldest brother, was a thick sturdy man, then there are the twin girls Amethyst and Morgan, Morgan looked a lot like a human with only the tiniest of indications of her heritage. The family is part of a bigger clan the clan Stone, the whole clan were miners, it is unsure if it was originally by choice or because they were forced into by their enslaver's.

By the time I was eight I was taking fresh pick axes, water, food and the like to the miners. When I turned twelve, I was forced to wield the pick axe myself and to help mine. The Drow were the main slavers, but they were not the top of the food chain. They could be heard by those who could understand them telling the others that the Boss was not happy with the speed of the work being done and would then try to get more work out of us than what could be possibly done  he and his people were enslaved in the underdark by "insert your people here" they all got together and raised a coup and many of my family and people were killed i was able to escape. i find smart people fascinating. Gems hold a special fascination for me. Materialist: I want riches to improve my life. (Any). I'm uncomfortable spending time under the open sky. I'd rather be indoors or underground.
